Sky News Click was founded in 2021 with a single principle: that good journalism should be clear. Not simplified — clear. There is a difference. Simplified journalism removes complexity. Clear journalism makes complexity accessible.
We cover England. Politics, economics, health, education, the environment, communities. We try to write in a way that is direct, precise and honest about what we know and what we don't.
The design of this site is deliberate. No autoplay video. No infinite scroll. No notifications. Just stories, written well, presented clearly. We believe that the form of journalism affects its substance. A site designed to maximise engagement tends to produce journalism designed to maximise engagement. We are not interested in that.
Sky News Click is independent. We have no parent company, no proprietor with political interests and no commercial clients with editorial influence. Our revenue comes from display advertising. Our editorial decisions are made by our editors.
